Ginger + Berry opened in 2024 with one simple goal: to create a café where people feel comfortable from the moment they walk through the door.

We wanted somewhere relaxed and welcoming, serving fresh food, great coffee and delicious bakes from local suppliers we genuinely love. Nothing over the top—just good food, friendly service and a place people enjoy coming back to.

Since opening, we've been lucky to meet lots of lovely people, get to know plenty of regulars and become part of Bangor High Street. We've hosted themed dinners, worked with fantastic local makers and suppliers, and watched the café become a place where friends meet, families catch up and people take a break from their day.

We're lucky to have some fantastic food producers on our doorstep, so wherever we can, we choose to work with local suppliers and artisan makers. It means we get to serve products we genuinely love while supporting other independent businesses too.
